Elaine approached me to create all of her brand identity. I began with logo concepts and finals, I then moved onto creating all of her printed assets which included flyers, posters, branded clothing, business cards some photography and finally a linktree with digital versions of her flyers.

When creating concepts I like to explore every idea I have, the good the bad and the ugly, this is just some of them. In the second stage we explored colour options of a few favourite options.
Moving on to flyers next, there is little space to advertise in Elaine’s gym so the flyers needed to stand out. I designed them to be a slightly taller custom size to gain a small advantage over competitors who all use A5. Speaking of competitors, a lot of them were dark, blacks with red so I deliberately leaned on the bright blues and white for standout and added a subtle gold callout to differentiate her as a premium P.T. They looked great on the P.T board.
Business card, these were printed double sided and matt finish with a gloss UV, they looked beautiful and premium compared to other P.T cards in the gym. It’s worth noting I’ve also created all photography and copy for Elaine’s assets.
To spread the message of Elaine’s new P.T service we employed some guerrilla graphics technique, printing laminated stickers to add inside random lockers and discreetly on machines. It was quite fun to see how long they would stay in position.
I designed many T-shirts and vests for Elaine, all printed vinyl. Elaine prefers face to face interactions rather than online socials and she is very active and visible in the gym space. We used that as an advertising tool, always having branded tops that encourage people to approach and interact with her.
To help Elaine share her personal trainer and her sports massage information quickly, I developed a simple free Linktree. This contains her contact information but also links to digital versions of her flyers adapted to look great on mobile. This Linktree can link to QR codes we use on printed assets and can also be sent as a handy WhatsApp link when talking to potential clients.
